The two-layer structure comprises an adhesive as the base and polyethylene as the outer shell, commonly known as 2PE. Meanwhile, the 3PE structure boasts an epoxy powder foundation, adhesive in the middle, and polyethylene as the outermost barrier, offering superior protection. The specific thicknesses of these protective layers are meticulously detailed in Table 1.

1. Begin with meticulous pre-treatment: Clean the steel pipe's surface of grease, dirt, and other residues, then subject it to preheating at a precise temperature range of 400°C to 600°C. This step ensures the surface meets the stringent Sa2½ standard as per 'Rust Grade and Rust Removal Grade of Steel Surface Before Coating' guidelines. Achieve an anchor grain depth between 50µm to 75µm by removing welding slag and burrs.
2. Following pre-treatment, thoroughly clean any remaining dust and abrasive particles. It is crucial to ensure the steel pipe's surface remains free of moisture, rust, or contamination during this phase. Apply the coating within four hours of pre-treatment; if this timeframe lapses or rust reappears, repeat the surface preparation to guarantee optimal coating adherence.
3. With the pre-treated surface ready, elevate the steel pipe to the ideal coating temperature using medium-frequency induction heating. Then, uniformly apply the epoxy powder coating, ensuring flawless coverage over the steel pipe's surface.
4. The process of applying polyethylene and adhesives can be executed through either longitudinal extrusion or lateral winding. For steel pipes exceeding a nominal diameter of 500 mm, lateral winding is preferred to ensure comprehensive coverage.
5. In the longitudinal extrusion process, the heated steel pipe-whether 2PE or 3PE with a powder coating-passes through adhesive and polyethylene extruder die heads. This method envelops the pipe's surface in layers of molten adhesive and polyethylene. The high temperatures during extrusion facilitate tight bonding between these layers and the pipe surface, minimizing external defects such as holes along the welds.
6. Alternatively, the lateral winding process involves rotating the steel pipe through an induction heating ring. Two extruders consistently apply molten adhesive and polyethylene film tapes around the heated steel pipe, either directly (2PE) or over an epoxy powder layer (3PE). This technique demands meticulous roller compaction to ensure complete adhesion, particularly at overlap sections and along weld sides, maintaining a uniform plastic layer thickness.
7. Finalize with water cooling: After polyethylene application, rapidly cool the steel pipe to a temperature below 60°C. This final step solidifies the adhesive and polyethylene firmly onto the steel pipe, ensuring a resilient, tightly bonded protective layer.
8. Upon the completion of the anti-corrosion coating application, it is essential to meticulously remove the polyethylene layer at the end of the pipe. The pipe end should retain a precise length of 100 to 150 mm, with the end face of the polyethylene layer elegantly forming a chamfer that is no greater than 30 degrees. This process ensures a perfect finish and optimal functionality.

Every steel pipe undergoes rigorous testing, including transverse and longitudinal tensile tests, welded joint tensile and ductility tests, flattening tests, bending tests, fracture toughness assessments, metallographic plug tests, hydrostatic tests, and non-destructive evaluations. Our steel grades range from B (L245) to X42 (L290), X52 (L360), X60 (L415), and X70 (L485), with the L485 grade denoting a total elongation stress of 485 MPa, showcasing their superior strength and reliability.

1. For a seamless and robust construction, the base pipe joints must be expertly welded in accordance with GB50236 "Construction and Acceptance Code for Field Equipment and Industrial Pipeline Welding Engineering." Precision is key: pipes and fittings with the same wall thickness should be paired to ensure the inner walls align perfectly. Any deviation should not exceed 10% of the pipe's wall thickness or 1 mm, ensuring a flawless fit and superior structural integrity.
2. When pairing pipes and fittings, ensure the surface of the groove is impeccably clear of any cracks, interlayers, or defects. All paint, rust spots, and burrs within 10 mm of the groove and its sides must be thoroughly cleaned to guarantee a perfect weld and finish.
3. The process measures and welding materials for spot welding of pipelines and fittings must mirror those used for formal welding. The spot weld should be precisely 10 to 15 mm in length and 2 to 4 mm in height, not surpassing 2/3 of the pipe wall thickness. Five. Weld protection:
1. The outer coating of the pipe body's welded joint can be ingeniously crafted with hot condensing polyvinyl tape with adhesive. The heat shrinkable sleeve must be smooth, free of wrinkles, bubbles, or charring. It must evenly overflow with adhesive around its circumference.
